Services to Tunbridge Wells

Weekly Tuesday service to Tunbridge Wells from: Forest Row, Chelwood Gate, Danehill, Nutley, Fairwarp, Duddleswell, Maresfield & Buxted. Fare £5 return

A Monday Service to Tunbridge Wells will generally operate on the first Monday each month. There will however be no service on Bank Holidays. Our Monday Tunbridge Wells service will serve the Crowborough and Jarvis Brook area. Fare £5 return.

Services to Crowborough

Weekly Wednesday service to Crowborough (Waitrose - Morrisons - Lidl) from: Maresfield, Jarvis Brook and Crowborough. Fare £3 return.

Weekly Thursday service to Crowborough (Waitrose - Morrisons - Lidl) from: Forest Row, Danehill, Chelwood Gate, Nutley, Fairwarp, Duddleswell and Crowborough. Fare £4.50 return.

Weekly Friday service to Crowborough (Waitrose - Morrisons - Lidl) from: Forest Row, Coleman's Hatch, Hartfield, Withyham, Groombridge and Crowborough. Fares £3 Return from Crowborough and Jarvis Brook, All other parishes £4.50 return

Services to Eastbourne

Wealdlink will resume a monthly shopping service to Eastbourne from March 2012. A flat fare of £10 return will apply from all supporting parishes. Provisionally pick up will commence at 10:00 and leave Eastbourna at 15:00.

Times

Wealdlink is a door-to-door service and therefore pick-up and return times will of necessity vary from week to week dependent on the number of passengers booked and subsequent route. The Service will start at 10:00 and complete all journeys by 15:00 daily. It is our policy to ring on the morning of travel to confirm an estimated time of arrival at your door.

PLEASE DO YOUR BEST NOT TO KEEP THE BUS WAITING as it is unfair to other passengers.

Booking your ride

Passengers are required to register with our Community Bus Operator in order to use the service. Registration is free, just phone 01892 771332 and we will register your name and address. Bookings are now made from the Wealdlink Office in Hartfield and a route schedule will be planned. We will then ring back on the day of travel and give you an approximate time of our arrival. Please note that it is essential for you to book your journey before you intend to travel. Bookings may be made on any day before travel. Phone 01892 771332 and book your seat for the next day. [Office hours 9:30 am to 12:30 pm] Currently an answerphone service only on Wednesday.

Our Vehicles

Access signAll vehicles used for this service are fitted with a lift and are therefore able to accommodate wheelchair users and baby buggies. It is however important to let us know if you are a wheelchair user when booking your ride and before the bus leaves the depot. Our policy for the maximum size and weight is the same as for other public services as follows: Maximum weight 300kg including user. Maximum length 1200mm Maximum width 700mm. Vehicles outside these parameters cannot be carried on board for mandatory safety reasons.
